Something good at The London Free Press:

Since 9/11, the U.S. and allied democracies have shown awesome restraint toward Islam. There has been little in the way of hostility manifested against Muslims, considering that most incidents of terrorism involve Muslims.

By a vote of 29-1 (10 abstentions), the New York Community Board approved the mosque, which board member Rob Townley called “a significant step in the Muslim community to counteract the hate and fanaticism in the community.” Wishful thinking, pal. You can’t appease those who don’t want to be appeased.

Thanks to a reader who sent this to me.
