Just what Britain needs: Al Jazeera English in Freeview

Global news channel Al Jazeera English (AJE) will be available on Freeview from Thursday.
More than 80% of UK households will be able to receive the English language channel which has its headquarters in the Middle East, when it is broadcast free-to-air on Freeview.
AJE, which can currently be viewed in more than 200 million households worldwide, will air daily on channel 89 from 6pm to 11pm.
Freeview viewers will be able to watch shows including Sir David Frost's weekly interview show Frost Over the World and documentary programme Witness, which focuses on human interest stories at the centre of international events.
Wadah Khanfar, director general of the Al Jazeera Network, said: "We are extremely pleased that Al Jazeera English's ground-breaking news and current affairs programming will be available to more than 80% of UK homes.
