Animals: Florida teens laugh after setting victim on fire over $40 loan

In my 31 years -- I always say, 'it's the most heinous crime I've ever seen,' " Lamberti told reporters Tuesday. "This one fits in that category. The fact that a person would intentionally ignite another child on fire -- it's indescribable."
Brewer "reported somebody for stealing his dad's bike," the sheriff said. "That's what this comes down to. It's retaliation. They deliberately sought him out, poured alcohol on him and set him on fire. I can tell you there's no way to explain it, no way to rationalize it." -

The suspects, who also include Steven Shelton and Matthew Bent, both 15, and 13-year-old Jeremy Jarvis all face charges of aggravated battery. Mendez, who police said actually flicked the lighter, faces charges of attempted second degree murder. -WSVN

Shocker: According to BSO, all five of the suspects have had run-ins with the law before. (Also at the bottom of this link there is information if you wish to donate money to the victim's family to help cover expenses. He is expected to be hospitalized for months).

Try. Them. As. Adults.
