You can't make this weirdness up....

A suicidal, criminal, drug addicted alcoholic, who apparently is also some kind of reverend, hijacked a plane in Mexico because he believed the country was in danger and he wanted to speak to President Felipe Calderon.

The man, Jose Flores, "threatened the crew with a fake bomb made from a red light affixed to three cans of hummus."

The plane landed safely and no one was hurt. The Bloomberg headline says he was "inspired by God," but I am wondering if he was inspired by Jim Bean, cocaine, and the voices that I'm pretty sure are in his head. Time for a padded room.
